This is a rehearsed reading of a new play. Memorial Day explores the disorientation and despair of the early days of the AIDS crisis through the experience of a physician who has just participated in his first assisted suicide. A serious, yet humorous look at the pain of being unable to help.

Located on the corner of Merchant and Bethel in downtown Honolulu, Kumu Kahua Theatre's Dark Night Series was created to offer other theatre groups, playwrights, and performance artists the opportunity to present their work to the community.
