HTS Issue #223 — Who Tells Our Stories

Aloha and welcome to Issue #223 of Hitting the Stage!

Local theatre is extremely important all around the world. Sure, there are moving and sweeping productions made with luxurious production values, or there are some stories that have started small and have traveled the nation over. However, the stories that are close to home are equally as important, if not more so. The stories the people that live around us have to tell are important, and that's why PlayBuilders of Hawai‘i is such an important part of our theatre community.

Guest Staff Reviewer Ryan Okinaka reviews their play in Find Hope on the Wings of Dragonfly. If you did not get to see it, there will be a chance to in May. Please do! There is a limited engagement at the ARTS at Mark's Garage on May 18-27.

Go see more theatre! Tell more stories! And a thing to leave you with-
