To go along with the theme of “celebrating” and “big things,” we want to make a new push to you, our dear readers, to get you thinking about writing for Hitting The Stage! If you enjoy watching theatre and talking about it, we are certainly right up your alley– plus, you get to see the shows for free! Interested? Are you interested in reviewing, but not sure what to write? Maybe it’s your first time reviewing and you would rather answer questions about the show? Perhaps you’d like a nod in the direction of how some of us at Hitting The Stage approach reviewing productions? Well, we’ve created a questionnaire that takes you through the various steps of reacting, thinking, and ultimately reviewing a production that you can fill out! Take a look at Tell us what you think about shows with the HTS Review Questionnaire!
Finally, we want to celebrate two shows opening this week- On Thursday at Manoa Valley Theatre, we have It Shoulda Been You! Then on Friday, UHM’s Kennedy Theatre opens Antigone! Two different, dynamic productions- go and check them out!
Lots to celebrate, lots to look forward to. Let’s keep it up! See you next time!
