We are excited to announce our season opener, the international smash hit musical, BILLY ELLIOT! Show opens September 23 and runs through October 16. Shows are Thursdays – Sundays. Please note we have changed our show times: Evening shows now start at 7:30PM Thursday - Saturdays. Sunday shows are at 4:00PM and Saturday matinees are at 3:00PM. Opening week begins on a Friday (9/23 @ 7:30PM)

Based on the film and featuring a score by music legend Elton John and book by Lee Hall, BILLY ELLIOT is the inspirational story of a young boy’s struggle against the odds to make his dream come true. Set in a northern English mining town, against the background of the 1984 miners’ strike, the show follows Billy’s journey as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and community, and changes his life forever.

Diamond Head Theatre is pleased to announce the title role of “Billy Elliot” will be played by Aaron Ostroff. Also starring, LeGrand Lawrence as “Aaron’s Dad”, Ahnya Chang as “Mrs. Wilkinson” and Lisa Konove as “Grandma”. Mary Chestnut Hicks plays “Mum”. Matias Durkin and Andrew Bell rotate the role of “Michael”.

 Directed by Diamond Head Theatre’s Artistic Director, John Rampage with Choreography by Caryn Yee and John Rampage. BILLY ELLIOT will be playing from September 23 – October 16, 2016.
