  UchinaAloha Written by Lee A. Tonouchi Aug 25 - Oct 2, 2016

David resists his grandfather’s sanshin lessons until he has the right motivation: a girl. A pretty young lady guest from Okinawa helps David and his friends discover much about themselves and David’s enigmatic grandfather.

This charming, family comedy promises to sell out quickly. Don't hesitate to get your tickets while they last! Purchase tickets We'd like to thank our generous sponsor for this show, Central Pacific Bank. And many thanks to Plato's Closet for clothing our actors on the stage!

Improvaganza Once again this year we'll be taking a short break from our opening show to welcome the international improvisation festival to our stage. Improvaganza runs September 21-25 at Kumu Kahua Theatre and The ARTS at Marks Garage. This year the festival will honor people who helped sculpt improvisation in Hawai'i, including one of our founding members, Kitty Heacox. We hope you'll join us as we welcome groups from around the globe to our stage! Learn more...
Okinawan Festival  We are delighted to present this Okinawan family show during the 30th Okinawan Festival in Hawaii! Please plan to join our friends at Kapiolani Park during Labor Day weekend for the largest and most visited festival in Hawai'i!Visit their website and facebook page for more information. See you there!

Subscribe and Save We are still one of the most affordably priced live theatres on the island, but we have raised our prices slightly this year. We hope you'll understand that this slight increase was absolutely necessary or we never would have considered it.

We do want to draw your attention to two very special ways to save on our shows this year. Though our general ticket prices were raised by $5 per show, our subscription prices only rose by $5 for the entire season. This means that our subscribers can now save nearly 50% off the price of regular ticket prices. We'd also like to introduce our new student subscription. It is absolutely vital to us that we welcome students to our theatre and we understand that cost can be prohibitive for young audience members and those paying their tuition at any age. For this reason we now offer a student subscription for only $25 for the entire season. You can visit our box office during business hours or subscribe online anytime and enjoy our additional subscriber discounts around town!

Season Survey  If you joined us for any of our shows last season, would you please take a moment to fill out this brief survey? We promise, we've kept it to simple, multiple choice answers. You should be able to zip through it in about 2.5 mintues and your participation is very important to us!Take the survey...
