Issue #197 — The Outdoor Play's the Thing

Issue #197 — The Outdoor Play's the Thing

Troy M. Apostol is a Po‘okela Award-winning actor and director, and managing director for Hitting The Stage.

Aloha, All,

In this week’s issue of Hitting The Stage…

HTS Reviews Editor Michael "Donut" Donato critiques the Hawaiian Mission Houses' Two Gentlemen of Verona in Ay, but hearken, sir; A Fun Evening Out Ahead. Donato takes in the outdoor theatre experience, which consists of Shakespeare's first script (maybe), implemented with a bit of modern Hawai‘i flavor by director Will Ha‘o, and set against the natural splendor of HMH's Kahua Ho‘okipa outdoor stage. The show plays two more performances: Friday and Saturday this week.

Enjoy!
