Free Standby Tickets for ‘Twelfth Night’, Opening Friday
FREE standby tickets for Twelfth Night, opening this Friday, July 8
In honor of 15 years of the Hawaii Shakespeare Festival, and 400 years since Shakespeare’s death, we’re offering free standby tickets to all our performances this year, including Twelfth Night, opening this Friday, July 8 at The ARTS at Marks Garage.
Mark Rylance calls Twelfth Night Shakespeare’s “most perfect comedy.” Director Jason Kanda updates this cross-dressing romance for our modern age, gender-swapping all the leads and introducing a cosplay element.
Featuring original music, witty wordplay and plenty of physical humor, and starring Brooke Jones as the lovelorn Duke Orsino, Gabriel Adam Brading as Viola, and Carson Morneau as Viola.
Standby tickets are available at the door, one hour before showtime on a first-come-first-served basis. If you want to skip the line and the hassle, advance reservations are available through Brown Paper Tickets at a deep discount to our normal ticket prices. More information at HawaiiShakes.org.
