DHT has been offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…to be the FIRST community theatre in the country to do the show, which is closing in September after 5,765 performances.

Young Sophie, who lives with her mother on a small Greek island, is about to be married and wishes for her father to walk her down the aisle. However, she has a problem: who is her father? Sophie reads her mother’s diary and discovers the names of three men who could possibly be her dad and secretly invites all three men to the wedding. What follows is a sweet and often funny sequence of events perfectly propelled by familiar pop tunes. Features ABBA hits such as “Dancing Queen”, “Knowing Me, Knowing You”, “Take a Chance on Me” and of course, the title song, “Mamma Mia”!

Playing mother of the bride “Donna Sheridan” is Alison Aldcroft, the bride “Sophie Sheridan” is played by Sarah Halford.

The show is directed by original Mamma Mia Broadway cast member, Kimee Balmilero. With choreography by choreographer to the stars and and original DHT Shooting Star’s member, Mark Kanemura. Mamma Mia! will be playing from July 15 until August 14, 2016.
