How far would you go to reclaim what you’ve lost? This immersive-theatre production explores this question. Set 10 years in the future, this production places audiences in the action where they will be forced to deal with issues ranging from Hawaiian Sovereignty to corporate terrorism, consumerism to hostage-taking. The first show of its kind in Hawai`i. DUE TO STRONG LANGUAGE AND SIMULATED VIOLENCE THIS PRODUCTION IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN.

Location: Dance + Media Galleries in Kennedy Theatre

This visual journey explores the immensity of love and memory and the imprint left in our subtle, physical, and earthly bodies. Contemporary dance styles as well as hula and Balinese dance will be performed live and enhanced by projection-scapes and video. The concert will also include an original dance film featuring UHM student performers and student filmmakers from UHM’s Academy for Creative Media in collaboration with filmmakers, dancers, choreographers, and producers from Hawaiʻi, Indonesia, the Pacific Islands, and the U.S.A.
